Our residents have been busy enjoying the Easter festivities, receiving special cards and treats from loved ones, as well as tucking into a beautifully decorated cake in the afternoon. All items received were cleaned and isolated for 72 hours before entering the Home to mitigate the risk of virus transmission.
Our residents were hoping that luck was on their side this weekend as they picked their horse for the Grand National. Well done to Margaret, who got a special prize for choosing the winning horse.

Last week, our residents had a day full of activities to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. During the day they enjoyed painting some festive images and taking part in am Irish quiz. The day was then topped off with a specially themed menu for dinner, alongside some tasty treats for dessert.
To mark Red Nose Day on Friday, our residents took part in a t-shirt making competition within their units. Congratulations to the Livingstone unit for achieving first place and to the runners-up in the Peacock unit. Ice cream also went down a treat!
