Our team enthusiastically combines trustworthy care with an active, ‘whole-home’ approach to activities and entertainment, including group walks in the park and along the burn.

Our expansive rear garden and the adjoining Finlathen Park are not just scenic backdrops; they are essential tools for maintaining resident health and mobility:
- Therapeutic Gardening: Residents are enthusiastically supported in “green-fingered” tasks like watering plants and seasonal fruit picking. These activities are carefully designed to keep residents moving, improving fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Parkland Walks: Taking advantage of the level, accessible paths in Finlathen Park and along the Dighty Burn Linear Park, our team leads regular walks that encourage cardiovascular health and leg strength in a beautiful, natural setting.
Animal Interaction: The presence of our resident ducks and visiting animals provides a sensory-rich environment. Tending to animals offers a sense of purpose that encourages even less-mobile residents to stay active and engaged with their surroundings.

Our Dundee nursing care fees
Care home fees include all meals and accommodation, bills, laundry and activities. The final price depends on Pitkerro’s management’s assessment. Shorter stay nursing respite care is available; please speak to Dawn for details.
The home is currently FULL, and we are operating a waiting list. As availability changes on a weekly basis, we advise that you call Pikerro and speak to Dawn, to discuss your enquiry and arrange a show around.
