An overwhelming response to our plea for plants

This week we launched the first edition of the Harbour Times. Each month this newsletter will include a spotlight on a resident and a member of staff, news from around the home and some word search and spot the difference games for our residents to enjoy. The spotlights are going to be an amazing way for our residents and staff to share their own stories and to listen and appreciate the tales of others. Our residents really enjoyed reading the first edition and have requested some more challenging games which we are excited to provide!

Paul and Melinda have been hard at work over the last month to revamp one of the communal rooms on the first floor. The results are fantastic!

A massive thank you to Harbour Residential’s families and friends for their overwhelming response to our plea for plants. We have received well over 800 plants, seeds and bulbs, and we cannot put into words how much these generous gifts have meant to us all at Harbour. Our residents have really enjoyed being in our garden, soaking up the sun and planting the kind donations. We are all so appreciative of the public’s continued thoughtfulness and selflessness at this challenging time.

Amidst increased risks posed by coronavirus, we are committed to ensuring that we continue to deliver the highest quality of care for our residents in a safe and sterile environment.
