Update

Over the weekend our staff have continued to work tirelessly, going above and beyond with extra carers on duty to ensure that residents feel safe, secure and well looked after. We thank our staff for their unfailing diligence, hard work and selflessness, and reassure family members that our carers remain dedicated to providing the absolute best care for your loved ones as possible.

As part of our ongoing testing, we have unfortunately identified that additional residents have tested positive for Covid-19, despite the strict cautionary measures we have put in place. We are continuing to work extremely closely with Public Health Scotland to stamp out the virus swiftly and minimise the risk of transmission throughout our wider home, however we know that the nature of the virus is highly unpredictable. All residents and affected staff are continuing to isolate, we have also put additional precautionary measure in place, including closing communal areas for staff, organising staff members into teams dedicated to providing care for each particular unit to minimise crossover, and coordinating further additional testing for all within our home. We hope that these extra measures on top of our regular schedule of testing, as well as observance of distancing and PPE guidelines help to eradicate this virus from our Home.

We deeply appreciate your patience, understanding and kindness not just throughout this past week, but over the entire course of this pandemic. Please continue to check our Facebook page and website for updates, and if you do have questions or concerns, please do contact the home on 01698 539440.
