Over the weekend several of our carers made the selfless decision to temporarily move into the Home to help manage the current situation, further mitigate the spread and cover multiple shifts as we get through this difficult time. Throughout the course of the last few weeks staff and residents continue to be regularly tested and isolate, and since the pandemic begun, our team have shown unwavering courage, compassion and commitment to providing the absolute best care for our residents possible. For their dedication, we sincerely thank them, and deeply appreciate their efforts.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our partners and regulators who we have been working with closely to stamp the virus out of our Home. We very much appreciate the support we have received from NHS Lanarkshire’s Care Home Liaison and Public Health teams, the Care Inspectorate, as well as the Social Workers and Contract Monitoring teams at South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership. We would also like to extend a warm thank you to the Infection Control team who recently liaised with our staff to review our processes, it was incredibly reassuring to hear that the precautions that we put in place to the mitigate risk of the virus were appropriate and as thorough as possible.
It is only with the help of all of our staff, partners and regulators, along with the patience, understanding and kindness of our residents and their families that we will get through this period, together, which we know that we will. As always, our team are always on hand and available to speak on 01698 539440, should you have any comments or questions.
