Sandiacre has 81 single bedrooms with en suite showers facilities. There are three floors in the home and provide care for residents with dementia, and for people who require nursing care.

Each bedroom offers privacy with en-suite facilities. There are lockable doors and draws for you to keep your valuables. You may also have
your room key for added security. Staff will treat your room as your own personnel space always asking for your permission to enter. Each room has an alarm call system in place; neck pendant alarms are also available if you are at risk from falls.

Bed linen and towels are provided and a laundry service, free of charge, is available.

Rooms are fitted with television and telephone lines should you wish to use them. Each room is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard and you are able to bring your personal items to create a homely feel to your personal space.

There are premier rooms available on each floor with enhanced furnishings and décor. There are selections of rooms on the ground floor with patio doors, which offer direct access to the enclosed secure gardens. We can also provide a variety of bedrooms on each floor that interlink, ideally suited to couples or for those wishing to enjoy this facility.

Any equipment you require to support your care is also provided.

The reception area includes a modern café and provides a relaxed, social area for our residents and guests. The dining rooms are light and spacious with menus reflecting the needs and preferences of your choice. We have fully qualified chefs who are able to provide for any specialist dietary requirements. Food and drinks are available on all floors at all times during the day and night. Relatives may also use these facilities. Residents are able to enjoy meals in the dining rooms or in smaller areas within the home. We offer flexible mealtimes so you can choose to eat and drink at a time that suits your needs.

Our cinema room provides a dedicated area for those wanting to enjoy the movie experience. We screen a wide variety of modern and classic favourites. Aromatherapy rooms on each floor provide a peaceful environment where residents can enjoy the therapeutic effect of essential oils. Lounges at Sandiacre Court are light and spacious, tastefully decorated with coordinating settees, chairs and soft furnishings. Large screen televisions and audio equipment are fitted in each lounge area. There are quieter lounges where residents can enjoy time with family and friends. Activities are provided in these areas to compliment the individual activities we support you to enjoy

Sandiacre Court’s  mature gardens are well stocked with shrubs, plants and potted flowers. Residents are encouraged to use the gardens and also help maintain the plants if you wish to do so. The outside areas can be accessed via the garden room on the ground floor and through the patio doors in lounge areas. The gardens are safe and secure, with trees and fencing so you can enjoy this private area free from intrusion.

We have a dedicated hairdressing room where our residents can book an appointment with our visiting salon stylist. If you prefer you can employ a person of your choice, who may use these facilities for your personal grooming.

In addition to the fully equipped en suite facilities, there are specially equipped bathrooms and toilets on each floor, which provide for the needs of those requiring extra help.
