Jayne’s Fund Raising

Jayne Emberton, a Unit Manager at Sandiacre Court raised an amazing £960 by running The Derby 10k this weekend. She also achieved her personal best at 50 minutes 20 seconds.

Jayne is raising funds to help create a Dementia Friendly Wall at Sandiacre Court. This  is a large feature which is both stimulating and interactive for those diagnosed with dementia. It will be a centre piece of the unit which will be accessible for everyone to enjoy.

Jayne is also running a half marathon in June when she hopes to raise a further £1000.

Other members of the Sandiacre family are raising money by jumping from a plane and having a sponsored wax .
