Q&A With Neville

We recently spoke to one of our previous residents Neville Westerman, who was in our care temporarily earlier this year, as we were keen to hear his thoughts on the care he received.

Q: What was your favourite part about the care at Sandiacre?

My favourite part was simply the wonderful carers. Despite such difficult times they looked after everyone so well and ensured every precaution was taken regarding Coronavirus. I always felt I could talk to any of the carers if I had any problems.

Q: What was the best activity or activities you did during your time at Sandiacre?

I was lucky to have the honour of turning on the Christmas Lights. It was amazing to see all the smiling faces watching and waving from their windows.

Q: What makes Sandiacre special, in your opinion?

The area in which Sandiacre is lovely. All the surrounding garden space is particularly nice in Summer, where people can have meals outside and enjoy the nice weather.

Q: What do you miss from Sandiacre?

I do miss all the wonderful staff that looked after me and all the laughs that helped me through lockdown.

Q: Do you have any more of your own comments or thoughts you would like to share?

I would just like to recommend Sandiacre to anyone looking for outstanding care, as it really is a wonderful place!
