Weekly Update – w/c 27th April

Amidst increased risks posed by coronavirus, we are committed to ensuring that we continue to deliver the highest quality of care for our residents in a safe and sterile environment.

We were overwhelmed with the selflessness and support that people have showed our colleague Mary. Your generous donations have made such a difference to easing the traumatic experience she went through, losing her home in the fire.

Our extremely talented staff member, Lisa Carington, brightened our home with some beautiful artwork on our windows and chalk boards!

Our residents had a fantastic time wearing the fun hats that the pupils of a local school in Long Eaton made for us.

Janet Greensmith, a mother of one of our dear nurses, spent hours creating washable uniform bags for each member of staff. These can be placed straight into the washing machine to prevent the spread of germs. It was such a thoughtful and useful gift that we were so grateful to receive.
